Share Paper: The Effect of Project-Based Learning on Enhancing Analytical Thinking Skills in Future Computer Teachers

Abstract: The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of Project-Based Learning (PBL) on enhancing analytical thinking skills among future computer teachers in Saudi Arabia. The study employed a single group pre-test/post-test design. The treatment consisted of using PBL as the instructional method. The target populations was thirty-three students in their seventh semester who were registered in the mandatory course “Methods of Teaching Technology” identified as a prerequisite for the final practicum in the College of Education. Analysis of data gathered indicated that PBL had a significant effect on student’s analytical thinking skills.
