Abstract: Technological literacy is a necessity for nurses of the 21st century.Accessing information quickly, problem solving, and caring for acutely ill patients is expected in the healthcare environment. Technological literacy was defined in this study to include three primary learning constructs: promoting cognitive (problem solving), affective (decreased anxiety, increased confidence),and behavioral skills (accessing and manipulating information/resources) to improve patient care.
