Pedagogical Strategies for K-12 Teachers’ Use of Interactive Whiteboards

Abstract: This brief paper is to report preliminary findings from a study on pedagogical strategies for effectively using interactive whiteboards in elementary classrooms. Four elementary school teachers who have been identified as experienced users of interactive whiteboards completed interviews and video recording of their teaching practices with interactive whiteboards. The interview and video recording data will be analyzed and reported under the framework of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK).
