Hybrid Teaching and Learning in Contemporary English Teacher Education

Abstract: Two English teacher educators reflect on their implementation of hybrid learning environments and the integration of contemporary literacies and technologies into instruction and assessment. These reflections reveal that hybrid courses, with careful attention to the ways technology are used instructionally, may assist in the simultaneous development of content knowledge, pedagogical content knowledge, and technological pedagogical content knowledge.
