Abstract: Avatars are becoming the art of online communication and are easily used as tools to teach content in education. This presentation focuses on the use of avatars as part of presentation tools when narration or explanations come in the form of an Avatar rather than text or teacher presentation. A group of sixteen teachers created their own projects using avatars. In their reflections the teachers found that Avatars were promising tools and expressed willingness to use them in their teaching.
