Abstract: Elementary Education student teachers participated in an online discussion board throughout the course of their student teaching semester. Students were grouped into two different discussion boards based on the grade level where they were student teaching. They provided each other with support and ideas for teaching, despite being geographically separated in elementary schools throughout their region. Results were positive for the usefulness of this electronic tool to keep student teachers connected to their peers during their student teaching experience.
