Abstract: In this paper, the effects of using interactive text for the students with different learning preferences will be discussed. Interactive texts have different characteristics from traditional texts. The examples of interactive text include: graphing tutorials, videos, and other multimedia learning resources, self-assessment tests, note-taking and annotation tool. Some research finds that the embedded multimedia of interactive texts is what makes interactive texts so effective in improving student learning outcome.
