Abstract: Video Intervision Peer coaching (VIP) aims at the improvement of teacher classroom behavior and the development of an appropriate coaching attitude. Teachers have to videotape their behavior that they wish to improve and discuss the video excerpt in a peer coaching session with their colleagues who are acting as peer coaches. Based on the feedback given, suggestions for improvement are formulated in an Action Improvement Plan (AIP). Following the suggestions, teachers will perform an altered behavior that they, once again, have to videotape for evaluation in the next peer coaching session. This paper discusses an exploration in which a group of teachers was studied while they were using VIP in an online environment.
