Immersive learning and effective technology integration: Educational foundations redefined
Abstract: This paper presents the initial findings of a study on the restructuring of an educational foundations course in which teacher education students support their learning through technology use. During the Spring and Summer of 2007 researchers began a critical conversation regarding technology integration and immersive learning experiences that concluded in the restructuring of a required Educational Foundations course. Researchers demonstrate how technology integration for learning can be achieved within a broader context of instructional reform. Results offer teacher educators an inclusive model of technology integration through immersive learning experiences by teacher education students.
