Abstract: While much literature exists on the benefit of traditional journals and service-learning, it is scant when considering the infusion of technology into the journaling process. As a result, the purpose of this study was to determine the impact of introducing an electronic team journal to undergraduate students enrolled in a service-learning based course. The service learning course paired sophomore level university pre-service physical education majors with local middle school students using a university-community partnership.
