Abstract: This paper presents a model for fostering service projects between undergraduate students and k-12 teachers. The model was derived from a case study conducted in Brazil as part of a larger international program on service-learning . Data were taken from personal accounts generated by the students, who acted as co-authors in this paper, in order to outline factors that assist or hamper the successful collaboration between teachers and undergraduate students in implementing innovative technology integration projects
