Abstract: The PT3 grant program at Morehead State University employs a Systemic Change Model that encompasses teacher preparation, K-12 partnerships, curriculum reform, and faculty professional development. In the area of faculty development, we have employed a multi-tiered model that provides a series of escalating technology integration opportunities for faculty. The three major components of our faculty development model are: 1) a one-semester online course in technology integration; 2) individual technology integration grants; 3) collaborative curriculum projects. The positive impact of our approach can be seen in faculty research and conference presentations, increased demand for technology, growth in Web-enhanced and online courses, and integration of technology in the classroom and course work. The ultimate goal is to ensure that every graduating teacher is prepared to integrate technology effectively in the classroom.
