Abstract: Faculty development with instructional technology continues to be an area addressed by many institutions. This study examines the faculty development efforts of three institutions in the University of Alabama System in the use of instructional technology, as well as the perceptions and practices of these effort and of technology use of faculty at these institutions. Through personal interviews with faculty members and faculty development personnel, factors preventing the use of technology and development programs were investigated.
