Abstract: Although universities at all levels are rapidly putting courses and programs online to keep up with the rest of the academia, the ability of university faculty to incorporate technology into their curriculum is still lagging. Faculty very often lack the necessary technological or instructional design background to make online course a reality. To address this problem, the Instructional computing team at St. Edward's University has developed a workshop-based multi-point support model to provide faculty with necessary training and support to integrate technology into classrooms. In our opinion, it is important to provide faculty with essential workshops on technology and instructional design skills. Yet, the on-going support is what makes the training truly productive and successful.
