Abstract: The use of modern technologies in educating students with typical development disability and/or intellectual disability can add value to teaching and learning process. In this context, the paper presents results of a case study that aimed to investigate teachers’ opinion regarding the benefits and limitations of technology based pedagogies can bring in the teaching activity, and how these technologies influence the teaching activity performed by a teacher. An important conclusion that emerged from this study is that the use of modern technologies in the education of students with intellectual disabilities is extremely effective given that it is used sparingly, adapted to the students’ needs and supported by teachers.
