Equipped for Success: Overcoming Obstacles to Technology Configuration & Integration in ActiveFlex classrooms
Abstract: With changes in traditional teaching and a shift to online learning, faculty and staff embraced video conferencing tools, new learning software, and various apps. To reach more students across different platforms, our institution created ActiveFlex, to add engagement elements after a successful HyFlex pilot. These added engagement elements allowed students to participate in the same activities regardless of attendance. This new platform lent itself to updating the current classrooms for maximum participation. This session will discuss how classrooms were configured with technology, issues that occurred, and workarounds that were implemented.
