Abstract: Teachers have been faced with working remotely and using online tools for engagement and instruction. What enhances this experience is if the students were able to collaborate with each other as if they were together physically. Many online tools are afforded with this ability every day. This workshop will look at online tools that allow students to collaborate and create online tasks and projects in a fun environment.
Objectives
Teachers will be introduced to online tools that promote student collaboration in k-12 classes Teachers will be introduced to sample lessons that involve the use of tools and collaboration Teachers will be encouraged to participate in an online collaborative activity Teachers will have time to experiment with online tools to create a task for their student using various free online tools.Topical Outline
