I think it is a good idea to apply educational technology to the teaching of learners with intellectual disabilities, which can greatly optimize their school effect. Under the guidance of educational theory and the support of technology, the combination of the two can achieve the best learning effect. I think this research also has a good development prospect in the future. It is suggested that the concept of universal learning design can be used to continue the research in the future.

Universal learning design is the integration of universal design into the field of education. It emphasizes the consideration of the needs of every learner and the equality of students, makes efforts to promote inclusive education and educational equity. Therefore, I think this study expands the range of learners, such as blind and deaf people.

Definitely we can explore Universal Learning Design and how we can integrate it in the NEWTON project to support children with with intellectual disabilities.
