Abstract: Blended and personalized learning have received attention from entities wanting to implement student-focused pedagogies, such as P–12 school districts, the United States Department of Education, and grant-offering organizations. The push for blended and personalized learning has been further promoted due to the COVID–19 pandemic that forced many P–12 teachers to teach online for the first time in their careers. The pandemic has also created a great educational divide between students who are on grade level, above grade level, and below grade level.
