Abstract: In spring 2020, the COVID-19 Education Coalition was formed as a national initiative in response to the transition to emergency remote teaching. The coalition’s deliverables, available at https://www.learningkeepsgoing.org/, include materials created by a higher education subcommittee that specifically address two areas: student agency in online learning, and policy recommendations for higher education institutions that prepare teachers. This best-practices session will present these materials, along with recommendations for how to make use of them in courses and programs.

Presider: Elizabeth Langran, Marymount University
