Abstract: This paper presents the best practices for an effectiveness and efficient offering of introductory level online cybersecurity course within higher education setup. The target was achieved with LEAN principles, practices and implementation; especially using available learning materials, optimizing tutoring processes and applying learning metrics in existing learning management system (LMS). The course design focuses on improved workflow and waste reduction for both students and teachers. The research results show higher students’ success ratio and learning satisfaction, along with optimized teacher’s resources. Overall, the paper demonstrates the improvement of study offerings with proposed online pedagogical processes and practices.
