Abstract: Job search during the pandemic poses unprecedented challenges. Online interviews and campus visits are also unique situations due to COVID-19 pandemic. We recognize all the challenges and barriers associated with these already demanding processes. As a Department of Instructional Technology, we successfully searched for two assistant professor positions and recruited two new colleagues to join our department during the 2019-2020 job season. During these processes, we learned a lot and hoped to disseminate them in these mentoring moment presentations, highlighting various topics from the perspectives of both the search committee and candidates.
