Abstract: When Hurricane Michael hit the Panhandle of the State of Florida in October of 2018, its damage left lasting effects on the educators of a school affected by its destruction. An open-ended questionnaire completed by 11 K-12 teachers in one charter school in the Florida Panhandle was disseminated to gain a better understanding of the first-hand experiences of the teachers following a hurricane.
