Strategies for Hybrid Learning

Abstract: COVID19 pushed learning online on several platforms. Now that schools are opening their doors, hybrid learning is stretching faculty/teachers' abilities. The session will navigate practical and efficient strategies to manage hybrid learning successfully, while allowing all abilities (novice, medium, advanced teacher/faculty) to focus on the teaching/learning aspect, and not be overwhelmed by the technology aspect.

Objectives

The session will focus of practical hybrid learning management strategies. The attendees will map learning environment elements, create a Classroom Management plan; and produce course delivery and assessment sequence and strategy plan.

Topical Outline

At the end of the course the students will be able to: 1. Organize their hybrid environment to maximize learning and minimize interruptions 2. Plan classroom management processes that are easy to follow and effective for hybrid learning 3. Create a learning and assessment management plan for their team to use immediately in class
