Abstract: The rapid advancement in technologies and the technology integration models in teacher education highlight the need for continuous professional development. However, most of these models provide a partial picture of the effective technology integration. This study aims at incorporating the models to bring about a holistic approach on effective technology integration. In order to develop this approach, this qualitative study used observations and interviews with Teacher Educators (TEs) to collect data. The findings revealed that teacher educators had limited understanding of effective technology integration into their pedagogies; hence manifesting the inadequacy of the available technology integration models. Therefore, this study has proposed a model that holistically enables TEs to effectively integrate technology for constructive teaching and learning.
