Abstract: In many areas around the world, there is a growing gap between the upper and lower socioeconomic classes. This study will examine two factors that are thought to be contributors to this trend. The two factors that will be examined are financial literacy and the digital divide. The author plans to reach out to 500 individuals within various socioeconomic classes in the United States.
