Abstract: The work presented in this paper is related to the tracks' analysis concerning students' actions collected by TEL (Technology Enhanced Learning) systems after a learning session. This paper describes a tracks' analysis process used to help teachers evaluate their observation needs in a such system and to serve them in sharing and re-using the know-how and the experience of the community in the usage analysis to improve their pedagogical scenario. A declarative DCL4UTL language is proposed to achieve this goal and employed in this process to specify calculation methods of indicators needed by teachers from raw data. This language is generic. This paper describes a method for calculating the Division of Labor indicator, a well-known indicator of the ICALTS European project, as one of the language's instantiations.
