Abstract: The purpose of this study is to find out the implications by analyzing SE-TE level of pre-service teachers in South Korea. We conducted SE-TEBI to 84 of undergraduate students at K university in South Korea. The total of responses was 84 cases. The overall SE-TE was 3.15 (SD = .52), the personal efficacy (PSETE) was 2.61 (SD = .86), and the expected outcome (SEOE) was 3.77 (SD = .38). Compared to in-service teachers, the commonality is that PSETE is lower than SEOE. Thus, it is suggested that the design of software education course for pre-service teachers should be considered to specifically promote PSETE.
