Abstract: This virtual presentation reviewed the existing literature related to current Learning Management System (LMS) adoption methods and their efficacy in terms of students’ learning process and experience. We identified and examined problems with current LMS design methods and gaps between students’ expectations and their actual experiences. We further proposed a new design approach to the learning management system where it utilizes state-of-the-art technologies to provide a more adaptive and individualized learning experience for students.
