Abstract: Faculty technology adoption and integration is a perennial dilemma for instructional design and faculty development. This paper presents how one large public university uses a “technology showcase” to confront the tension between suggesting learning technology to faculty and making sure they are able to choose the right tool for their teaching and learning goals without immediately adopting to the first tool to which they are exposed.
