Abstract: This session will discuss innovative approaches to implementing extended reality (XR) in different types of educational settings (Alexander, et al, 2019). Panelists will represent the roles (educational journal editor, department director, program coordinator, instructor, and instructional designer) needed for implementation of this technology and will discuss teaching/learning and ethical considerations for implementation of extended reality. After the panelists’ presentation, the audience will be involved in further discussions, inquisition, and adoption projections. Conclusion of session will consist of a group summary and recommendations.
