Digital Storytelling: A Communication Tool and Method for Global Education
Abstract: This brief paper describes the use of digital storytelling as a pedological tool used to engage learners at an international University campus in China. Through close observation, the research team explored how a group of Chinese students of a global social media marketing course adapted sustainability literacy strategies and shared their knowledge through the format of digital storytelling. International educators need to take a thoughtful and innovative design approach to implement more effective out-of-the-box teaching methods that enhance a better understanding of global education through cutting-edge technological pedagogical practice. This paper provides one such pathway through digital storytelling as a creative learning format.
