On the Value of Introducing Students to Critical Perspectives on Educational Technology
Practitioner's Research
ID: 53841
Abstract: This paper is based on the premise that anyone interested in the role of technology in education will benefit from greater exposure to some of the more persuasive critiques on the subject. A rationale is presented as to why students of digital learning need more exposure to arguments against the integration of technology and how such an experience might shape and strengthen their understanding of the field. From here, strategies and resources for introducing critical perspectives are discussed.
