Abstract: Quality professional development for all educators is at the core of educational improvement. New formats that teach with and about best practices are being developed and exist under bite-sized titles such as micro-credentials, nanodegrees, and badges. These agile, choice-driven models allow one to manage their learning in terms of content topics, pathways, and exhibition of newly acquired knowledge or skills. With the potential to transform professional development experiences for educators and lead the way to more personalized learning, this session describes the overarching unit responsible for coordinating all these courses and outlines the development and execution of four microcredit courses in service of sustainability goals and mindsets at a major research university in the desert southwest.

No presider for this session.
