Abstract: A number of initiatives have been launched to utilize mobile technologies and Apps for educational purposes. Studies have shown that mobile applications can create critical thinking and creativity among students. The present paper describes the prototype of the developed mobile application which can be used for inquiry learning in Environmental Education. Today environmental education is included at all levels of education. But it is often criticized for being reductionist and empirical and thus not optimal for next generation of students who are expected to formulate solutions to complex, interdisciplinary environmental issues.
