Abstract: The purpose of this study is to provide a review of literature on the use of game simulations in business education The study consolidates numerous journal articles from academic publications This paper identifies the method for reviewing the literature, offers a literature review of business simulation usage by countries and by disciplines, and reviews driving factors that will affect the initiation of simulation in business education This study will be of interest to business educators and learners It may influence learning and teaching strategies in business education – specifically institutions that are considering the use of simulation software to enhance their approach to teaching business courses
