Abstract: Whit the aim more information about the student's personality, a model of reference profiles of the student's thinking style is proposed These data will be integrated into the model student component of the system (where the student's information is concentrated) ProgEst This article describes the proposal of a model of profiles that represent the student's style of thinking The style of thinking in our work is one of the aspects that we consider that affect the learning process Information about the type of motivation and locus of control present in the student forms the profile of the style of thinking: 1) learning guided by principles, 2) learning depending on the environment, 3) learning guided by commitment On the other hand, the student's learning style was related to the profile of your thinking style in order to propose and / or adapt the current didactic activities and strategies that support the student's learning
