Abstract: As borders blur and comfortable practices are transferred between traditional and e-learning classrooms the transformative dimensions of each learning space frequently go unconsidered New media may be embedded by the teacher or augmented by the learner in service of achieving outcomes by duress or engagement Whether the teacher greets this migratory phenomenon with trepidation or excitement, the key responsibility remains the same -- to offer a course that leads students to success, more by engagement than by duress Understanding the multiplicities found among students, learning environments, communities, and learning content provides a foundation for creatively juxtaposing and composing engaging and transformative learning experiences Towards meaningfully accommodating such multiplicities opens the space of improvisation This session explores approaches to employing and nurturing creativity through a constructivist lens for our post-structuralist learning environments
