Many colleges have a department for online learning that does not have the resources to produce quality or maximally effective instruction video Through an interdepartmental collaboration we created a program, the Voice-Over Internship, that took advantages of the resources of the music department and our talented students This internship created an authentic learning experience for advanced vocalists and sound engineering students where we simulated a professional voice-over recording experience that mirrored professional companies The students were given the task of creating a professional quality audio asset that was to be used in video that was to be used throughout the college This resulted in a student appreciated program that also improved the instructional video used by the school
