Abstract: This project was designed to enhance the learning for third year medical students using augmented reality and 3D print models to assist with the teaching of musculoskeletal (MSK) physical examinations. Through the use of a constructivist model and instructional approach we anticipated students will experience a deeper, more meaningful educational experience which in turn provides for elevated learning and retention. Assessment of medical student learning goals were conducted to determine the efficacy of this instructional approach.
