Descriptiopn
Abstract: E-Learning and asynchronous learning technologies continue to advance traditional, distance, and blended learning environments. An emergent challenge faced by all educators is offering personalization to a growing number of students with an expanding variation of backgrounds. Advances in technologies, including free technologies such as Google Apps and Docs, have enabled strides in the development and dissemination of asynchronous and interactive learning tools. Interactive and asynchronous learning tools allow students to work at their own pace, in their own time-frame, and while receiving personalized and knowledge-specific feedback. Interactive Google Documents are a form of directed and feedback-based learning that is student-controlled, rather than instructor-controlled, thereby allowing each learner to migrate through the interactive Document in a manner that most effectively suites their learning style and requirements.
