Abstract: This mix-method study investigates the adult learners’ collaborative writing experiences in a distance learning program. Participants are the students enrolled in Adult Education Distance Learning Program who have at least participated in one collaborative assignment. A survey is distributed online to their emails, and a follow-up interview is scheduled on a voluntary basis. The surveys are analyzed by SPSS and the interview will be analyzed by Nvivo. A narrative approach is used in analyzing the data. The findings will inform program planners, program coordinators and online instructors regarding a more effective distance learning program.
