Abstract: The global sensor market is galloping at a tremendous pace and it is expected that by 2020s the global sensor market size will exceed $22.34 billion. The potential job market mandates training and educating future workforce in science related fields. Out of several critical areas, engineering field especially the education, training and competence in sensor technology hold a tremendous opportunity for future workforce. Our educational platform will embed the fundamental concepts of sensors, and expose the participants with potential application of sensors through utilization of the students’ artistic skill in an engaging, fun-filled environment. The platform is based on inkjet-printed Ag circuits and the state-of-the-art Ag ink printed sensor technology on a flexible substrate. The platform will demonstrate to the students the scope and significance of engineering and technology through transforming their artwork and crafting pieces into simple circuits and sensors applications.
