Abstract: Automatic grading of programming assignments and feedback generation is an important field in academic research. It aims at improving the learning process through adequate practical exercises accompanied by a good feedback procedure. Grading programming assignments, especially providing substantial and effective feedback, is a tedious and time-consuming process, it is difficult to provide feedback in a timely manner. These problems can reduce the effectiveness of the learning process in programming courses. This paper presents a web-based testing and assessment tool that allows students to test their assignments and receive feedback instantaneously. The system has been used in actual courses at our university. We confirmed that the instructors were able to assign more homework and provide quick response and feedback more efficiently.
