Determining Learning Status in SDN Construction Exercises

Abstract: Recently, significant attention has been paid to software-defined networking (SDN). With the spread of SDN, network construction exercises that use this technology have been developed in some educational institutions. Capturing student learning status is useful and thus, there are many methods for doing so in programming and legacy network construction exercises. However, there are few such methods for SDN. In this study, we focus on detecting students who experience learning setbacks. This paper describes the method of finding such students by generating a color-coded time chart of learning states, which we evaluate manually.
