Abstract: The aim of this paper is to demonstrate the use of an available feature in Blackboard course management, Wiki, to foster collaboration, communication, and interaction in a graduate level course offered in the summer of 2015 at an accredited university. The theory of transactional distance education was used to effectively implement the use of Wiki in this course. Students were asked in phone interviews to rate the effectiveness of Wiki in regards to interaction, and the responses and course evaluations were positive.
