Share Paper: Implementation of iPad Usage to Increase High-School Student's Participation in Math Education

Abstract: This research examined three in-service teachers enrolled in the Masters in Education coursework initiate to improve their pedagogy, and infuse technology during instruction to positively influence student learning through action research projects. Descriptive analysis of quantitative data generated through teacher’s in-class pre-test, post-tests, homework completion, supplemental IT application content as well as complementary technology infused teaching, and reflective journal writings were used. The type of internet application and the use of iPads devices were noted to document student engagement and participation.
