Abstract: The learning about the region is often mandatory for the residents at their childhood. A field work to visit historical or region-specific places in the region seems to be effective for such learning. We proposed a mobile-based quiz rally management system which make such field work more enjoyable. Our system can support to conduct a quiz rally in the region. When participants reach at the checkpoint, they must show their ID tags to the camera of 10.5inch Android tablet placed at checkpoint. Then, the quiz is displayed in the screen and the participants touch it to answer. All these activities are logged in the server and can be monitor in real time. In addition, our system can handle repeatable enrollment of participants. This feature will help the “spaced repetition”, which is thought to be effective for learning. We are planning to conduct actual test of our system in this October.
