Abstract: With continuous growth in online course and program offerings, The University of Cincinnati Clermont College (UCCC) determined that there was a need to establish a professional development program to prepare faculty for online instruction. The University of Cincinnati Clermont began offering distance learning classes in 1997. Today, University of Cincinnati Clermont offers 30 percent of all courses in an online format. In 2013, the College made the commitment to offer fully online Associate degree program. This paper describes the steps taken to adopt a successful faculty development program.
