Abstract: Feedback in an online learning environment can be the deciding factor between spending inordinate amounts of time responding to student queries and spending that same amount of time on developing relationships and other educational endeavors with and among students. Finding the balance between the right amount and type of feedback can be the way to avoid student confusion, develop better students, and increase student satisfaction. Providing effective feedback, as well as possible tools and student perspectives of the feedback, will be discussed.
